Safely Dispose of Household Hazardous Waste
For residents of Scott County and Rock Island County, the Waste Commission of Scott County has a hazardous material facility available. There is no charge if you’re a resident, but if you’re from another county, there will be a charge with a maximum of $35.
For safety and environmental reasons, please do not dump hazardous waste down a drain, on the ground, or in a storm sewer. And, because Millennium Waste isn’t licensed to haul hazardous waste, please do not place any hazardous waste in any Millennium Waste container. Instead, please take those materials to the HHW facilities in Davenport, IA.
